There is no such thing as a perfect parent. So just be a real one.
Clark County ESC GRADS Program
The Clark County ESC offers the GRADS Program to school districts with expectant or parenting teen mothers and fathers. Information and resources they need to be successful as both students and parents are presented through community services and programs, applicable lessons, accountability and one on one coaching/mentoring.
MOPS
MOPS is Mothers of Preschoolers, an international organization that connects moms of young children in their own cities to meet together to laugh, cry, love, and embrace the journey of being a mom – together. From the time you get pregnant to when your youngest is in Kindergarten, our doors are open. We meet twice a month on Wednesday mornings September - May at High Street United Methodist Church with childcare, brunch, small group discussion, and more!
The Parenting Network
The Parenting Network has 3 locations to serve expectant mothers and fathers, as well as parents/guardians of infants and children. Participants are able to earn material items such as cribs, car seats, strollers, diapers, clothing, etc by completing lessons on pregnancy, childhood growth and development, parenting, relationships, and life skills. Lessons are offered digitally, providing participants the opportunity to complete them at a convenient time. Dedicated staff and mentors meet with clients during 1-hour sessions to review lessons and provide support. Recurring group classes on safe sleep, shaken baby syndrome, preventing child sexual abuse, home safety, and stress management are held at all locations and are available virtually as well as in person.
