Project Woman
Project Woman offers a full range of programs that are trauma-informed and non-victim blaming. These include 24/hour crisis & help line, emergency temporary shelter, supportive housing solutions, empowerment, and advocacy. Additionally, Project Woman provides community advocacy, prevention, and education to promote awareness and social change necessary to end gender-based violence.
POEM
We are Ohio moms who have survived prenatal/postpartum depression (PPD) or anxiety so we understand like no one else can. We had thoughts that scared and shamed us. We blamed ourselves. We doubted ourselves. We felt weighed down by all the “shoulds” of motherhood. Some of us had a hard time finding help. That’s why we started POEM, where we volunteer our time to help moms like you who are experiencing the most common complication of childbirth.
RISE
Rise is a branch of POEM created by and for Black moms and birthing persons because we are more likely to experience perinatal mental health complications yet less likely to receive quality care and support. We Rise as a direct response to gaps in care, offering culturally matched peer support, care navigation, education, advocacy, and awareness while centering the unique and individualized needs of Black moms and birthing persons.
